- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Senior Social Researcher to join them on an 8 month contract. This position will be hybrid, London.
Job Summary:
- Conduct research and evaluation for Asylum and Protection portfolio working closely with Operational and Policy colleagues.
- Produce and present monitoring and performance metrics on a monthly basis.
- Carry out internal analysis of MI data and AQA of evaluation analysis and reporting.
- Provide technical advice for scoping wider evaluation work.
- Strong knowledge of evaluations and applied social research methods, including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Experience of carrying out complex analysis for evaluation purposes (including regression methods).
- Experience of using appropriate analytical techniques and software (such as SQL, R, SPSS, SAS, Stata, N-Vivo and similar packages).
- Experience of analysing data and presenting results clearly to a variety of audiences.
