- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be hybrid, London.
Job Summary:
- Working internally with the ICT Service Delivery team to build modern, scalable, secure IT systems.
- Managing, maintaining, researching, recommending and implementing configuration and best practices for: Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive & other related products.
- Advocate and promote the internal toolset and make sure that we are using them to their full potential.
- A part of your role will be to liaise with users, architects, and business areas to understand and develop ideas on how the M365 suite can help efficiency, save costs, or negate the needs of other systems.
- You will work with our Microsoft account managers and the ICT support team to stay on top of new features and releases ensuring that business areas are aware of new functionality before it is rolled out.
- You will guide and train junior members of the team in day-to-day procedures as necessary, so they can train users, and complete basic ICT administration tasks.
- Supporting the Head of No10 IT Service Delivery to develop network strategy and deliver supporting projects to meet business requirements on time and within budget, from procurement to the delivery of the service.
- Monitoring, administering and managing Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online/On-Prem, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
- Ensuring service availability, performance, and security.
- Investigating and resolving faults in services.
