Description:
Have responsibility for, and a deep knowledge and understanding of, all aspects of Architecture Realisation, driving consistent implementation and championing innovation and best practice. Responsible for strategic alignment of technical design and architecture to meet business growth and direction. Advise on, manage and implement the agile delivery of digital solutions, providing technical guidance, mentoring and training in agile technical delivery and evolutionary software architecture, bridging the gaps between outline technical architecture and working solutions. Lead the building of a culture of continuous delivery and improvement, ensuring key systems are regularly analysed, maintained and improved. Act as the technical authority in meetings with other government departments, and oversee the evaluation technical proposals from external suppliers. Set a high technical standard in Architecture Realisation across the department. Act as a strong advocate for digital solutions and approaches across the department. Clarify and articulate the diverse requirements of users and delivery partners to support effective delivery of a service. Deliver digital services that meet the Digital by Default Service Standard before they are launched.
