Minimum Requirement:
The Test Manager is accountable for the ensuring that quality is built into development of all solutions at all stages within the development lifecycle. The Test Manager is accountable for providing expert practice advice and guidance as well as practical advice on complex technical testing issues at project level. The role is accountable for driving forward the quality agenda in the development of IT solutions and devising and monitoring progress using a range of quality metrics. The Test Manager is responsible for developing capability within the test discipline and increasing knowledge & understanding of the importance of building in quality across the wider development community.
Qualification
ISEB Foundation in Software testing - ISTQB
Experience
• Experience of managing multiple workstreams
• Experience in managing testing at all levels (unit through to performance)
• Experience in managing and reporting on risk and implementing mitigation plans
• Experience in automated testing tools and techniques.
• Experience of continuous integration practices.
• Experience of creating robust Test Strategies and Test plans to ensure quality
• Experience in Data Migration and Talend
Skills
The ability to build positive
working relationships across the organisation.
• The ability to engage, influence and persuade others.
• The ability to negotiate to reach an agreement.
• The ability to be able to assess risk to quality.
• Use of code repositories (e.g. Github).
