- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Job Evaluation Analyst to join them on a 9 month contract. This position will be based in London or Leeds/ Hybrid.
Job Summary:
The People Directorate Reward team has wide-ranging responsibilities covering many aspects of Reward. The successful candidate will join the existing team who jointly contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the Reward strategy for the client, which includes all aspects of Compensation alongside Pension, Benefits and Wellbeing.
This is a challenging and varied role which spans a number of subject areas, all falling under the remit of Reward. This role will provide exposure to numerous stakeholders across the organisation and allow the opportunity to get involved in some deeply analytical work streams in relation to Reward and also contribute to decision making within this arena, keeping engaged with the external environment alongside the ongoing needs of the client.
Minimum Requirement:
- Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies – Hay and WTW.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Experience in HR, reward, or organisational design is desirable.
- Able to build strong relationships across teams.
- Proactive in problem-solving and process improvement.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience using “R” or other analytical tools.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
