- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be hybrid, Walsall.
Job Summary:
- To support the delivery day to day performance and insight management and quality assurance systems for corporate or directorate business and plans as part of the Corporate Hub at Walsall, in line with legislative requirements, national and local policy and strategy.
- To support research and analysis to help evaluate and improve understanding of need in the Walsall borough and support continuous improvement.
- To undertake a range of performance reporting in support of projects and programmes across the Council as required, using analytical tools and producing standardised reports and charts.
- Work on projects under the guidance of senior performance analysts and more senior roles.
- Support the development of wider analytics context, tools and techniques.
- To actively develop and improve performance systems (including the build of a balanced scorecard approach that can allow data drill through and visualisation at lower levels), using knowledge and experience to support managers to take ownership of data and data quality.
