Pay Rate to Candidate: £739.35 (umbrella)

•Understand AFRP requirements and map appropriate solutions.
•Experience of working in public sector, MOD ideally
Description:
Business Architect – will be responsible for ensuring that the architectures developed to support Armed Forces Recruitment Programme (AFRP) deliver the business outcomes of MOD recruitment. They will map AFRP aims to deliver (recruitment) with the digital (hosting, networks, software) and data (exploitation) to ensure that tri-Service recruitment is optimised for ensuring the combat effectiveness of the Armed Forces. The AFRP Business Architecture will define the operational aspects of how we plan to use information to maximise recruitment operations. The role will be responsible for developing the AFRP Business Architecture by pulling together existing content (modelled and non-modelled), coordinating existing development activities and developing new content.
Role: They will:
•Understand the recruitment environment and supporting technology.
•Understand AFRP requirements and map appropriate solutions.
•Create and Maintain the AFRP Business Architecture
•Put in place the architecture methodology, standards and tools to be used to develop and maintain the architecture (in line with Defence guidance).
•Import existing information into the agreed model (either by translating content or linking to existing models).
•Agree and align plans and activities with the various architecture teams contributing to building the architecture.
•Document the architecture and its associated maintenance and assurance processes.
•Act as the main point of contact and accountability for governance of the architecture.
•Manage the business interfaces between architectures and teams both within and at the boundaries of the programme.
•Develop and maintain the list of questions the AFRP recruitment architecture is intended to solve.
•Support analysts and decision-makers to use the AFRP recruitment architecture aligns with other Business Architectures and subsequent Information System and Technical Architectures.
