Job Summary:
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Developer to design, build, and support technical integrations across Oracle SaaS applications (ERP, HCM, SCM) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This is a hands-on technical build role, working closely with the Senior Oracle Integration Consultant and functional teams to deliver reliable, well-engineered integration solutions across Oracle's PaaS and IaaS landscape.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including orchestration and app-driven integration patterns.
- Build custom connectors, adapters, and integration flows to connect Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, and SCM with third-party and legacy systems.
- Write and maintain REST/SOAP web services, handling authentication, error handling, and payload transformations (XSLT, JSON/XML mapping).
- Develop data conversion and migration components using FBDI, HDL, and BI Publisher (BIP) reports.
- Implement and support scheduled/batch integrations, file-based integrations, and event-driven integrations.
- Debug and resolve integration failures, working through logs, error notifications, and monitoring dashboards within OIC.
- Support performance tuning of integration flows to optimize throughput and reliability.
- Assist in configuring and maintaining Oracle PaaS components (Visual Builder, API Platform, Autonomous Database) and basic IaaS resources (Compute, Storage, Networking) as needed for integration solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, version control practices, and adherence to integration development standards.
- Prepare technical documentation such as low-level design documents, data mapping specs, and unit test evidence.
- Support SIT/UAT cycles and provide hypercare/post-go-live technical support.
- Collaborate with the Senior Consultant and functional teams to translate designs into working technical builds.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15 years of hands-on Oracle integration development experience.
- Strong practical experience building integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Working technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, or SCM data structures and APIs.
- Proficiency with REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and XSLT transformations.
- Experience with FBDI, HDL, and BI Publisher (BIP) for data loads and reporting integrations.
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud Adapters and pre-built integration templates.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Oracle PaaS (VBCS, API Platform, Autonomous Database) and IaaS (Compute, Storage, Networking) services.
- Familiarity with authentication/security standards (OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL/TLS) as applied to integrations.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, comfortable working through logs and error traces.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with consultants and functional teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Oracle Integration Cloud certification.
- Exposure to Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) for custom UI development.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Cloud deployments.
- Prior experience in a delivery/implementation project (not just support).
- Scripting experience (Groovy, JavaScript, or PL/SQL) for custom logic within integrations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Key Competencies:
- Detail-oriented with strong technical build discipline.
- Ability to work well within a team, taking direction from senior consultants while owning technical delivery.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving integration issues.
- Willingness to learn new Oracle Cloud technologies and adapt to evolving project needs.
An active DV clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active DV clearance and meet all essential criteria.
