- The Client:
A government client is looking for a Benefits Lead to join them on a 5 month contract. This position will be based in London/Bristol.
Job Summary:
Minimum Requirement: The Benefits Lead will own and drive the realisation of measurable benefits from the programme, ensuring the transformation delivers tangible value to Defence and the taxpayer. This role will lead the benefits management strategy, define baselines and targets, and embed benefits tracking and reporting throughout delivery and into business-as-usual.

Essential:
- Proven track record in benefits management for major transformation programmes, ideally in a public sector, Defence, or large-scale corporate services context.
- Strong knowledge of benefits frameworks (HMT Green Book, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), or equivalent).
- Experience of ERP / HCM transformation (e.g. Oracle Fusion, SAP) and the associated business change.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and influence at SCS and 2-star / 3-star level.
- Highly numerate with strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate services functions (HR, Finance, Commercial, etc.) and their operating models.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of MoD governance structures, Portfolio Office processes, and Defence business operations.
- APMG or MSP Benefits Management Practitioner certification.
- Experience in cross-organisational change in a federated environment.
- Understanding of complex, secure operating environments.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
