- The Client:
A government client is looking for a Commercial Manager to join them on a 5 month contract. This position will be remote with occasional travel to London.
Job Summary:
The role will work within the Catalogues & Marketplace Team and will be responsible for ensuring spend compliance within the Science space as well as establishing catalogues.
The post holder will work directly with business stakeholders to determine requirements and establish the necessary contracts.
Essential:
- Strong commercial experience – healthcare background would be ideal
- Strong stakeholder engagement, able to drive dialogue and influence
- Able to manage suppliers and monitor spending
- Pro-active & self starter
- Should be able to multitask and work well within a team
Desirable:
- Awareness of civil service governance and spend controls
- Familiar with Atamis portal
