- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be hybrid, Peterborough.
Job Summary:
- Document and analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify gaps between the existing processes and solution design, and also recommende areas for improvement and optimization.
- Facilitate or support requirements gathering/alignment workshops with key stakeholders, including 3rd party suppliers and managing the relevant deliverables.
- Create clear and concise business requirement documents, use cases, and process flow diagrams to communicate requirements to development teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including management, users, and technical teams, to identify and document business needs, objectives, and functional requirements.
- Work closely with solution designers, developers, architects and other 3rd party consultants to design effective solutions that align with project/business objectives.
- Develop and execute test plans and cases to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are free from defects.
- Assist in change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new solutions.
- Perform data analysis to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and act as a trusted advisor on business and technology matters.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in business processes and systems.
