- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join them on a 5 month contract. This position will be hybrid, London.
Job Summary:
- Lead the automation testing effort of the functional testing of IBM Maximo UI and API integrations.
- Create new tests scripts to cover new Asset Areas.
- Work collaboratively within the existing and wider teams through all stages of the Testing Life Cycle.
- Debug, troubleshoot and fix errors in automation framework as and when they arise.
- Update existing test scripts to reflect changes in business requirement.
- Continuous testing using CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and maintain infrastructure to support parallel test execution using selenium grid for quick feedback.
- Execute tests in various environments, analyse and report on any issues found.
- Create and maintain documentation for automated test execution, scheduling etc.
- Knowledge transfer and support other team members to extend the automation test suite.
