- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Security Advisor to join them on an 18 month contract. This position will be hybrid, Aldermaston.
Job Summary:
- Monitor the application of security policies and any other relevant standards, reporting on any area where a shortfall is identified, or a possible amendment to policy required.
- Support the conduct of assurance activity to ensure the correct application of security policies and the maintenance of security standards across the Security Operational Area.
- Assist in the mitigation and monitoring of security risks identified within the Security Operational Area.
- Assess the performance and effectiveness of security elements as directed, to include the conduct of facility security audits, and advise the Security Manager of where corrective action and improvements are needed.
- Support Company projects through engagement with stakeholders, the provision of advice in interpreting existing security requirements, and guidance on the application of security policies for construction enclaves.
