- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Security Assurance manager to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be hybrid, Corsham.
Job Summary:
- Production of plus regular update and maintenance of Information Security Plan.
- Provision of security advice and guidance (as the final filter) to the formal review of project documents.
- Maintenance of the Project Security Aspects Letter to include updates for the PQQ, ITT and contract award processes plus additional updates on an as required basis.
- Production, refinement and testing of Security Requirements in conjunction with DD, DIO, Stratcom and wider MOD staff. Determination of the implications and impact of these requirements, translating them into a list of related actions, risks and issues.
- Testing and validation of proposed (contractor) solutions from a security perspective - to include marking (from a security perspective) of ITT submissions.
- Producing Project Security Risk Balance Cases - researching and production followed by submission and monitoring progression and final decision from the Risk Owner. Maintaining a register to record such information.
- Conducting regular liaison with Project Accreditor throughout life cycle of the Project - in particular, engaging with him to ensure gradual and timely completion of the Accreditation Evidence Statement by the due date (TBC).
- Provision of project-specific advice (to include, if required, site visits) and monitoring progress made against site security uplifts.
- Providing bespoke and specific technical security advice to tech refresh programmes.
