Candidates must have served a recognised aeronautical engineering apprenticeship / possess an appropriate National Qualification, ideally with recent experience in avionic communication and RADAR systems

Job Description – AV08 (Airborne Communications and RADAR)
The post holder will be responsible for the instruction, up to Foundation Degree level, (BTEC Higher National equivalent), of military and civilian air engineering students in aircraft avionics systems, in particular Airborne Radio Communication Engineering, RADAR and EW and Advanced Fault Finding Techniques. This will include both theoretical and practical instruction, supervision of laboratory work, marking and assessment. Minor maintenance of training equipments/training aids is also required as appropriate.
Experience of training delivery and/or a teaching qualification (e.g Cert Ed/CFET or Defence Instructional Techniques (DTTT) is essential.
You will also be expected to diversify into other related subject areas after suitable training, if required.
