- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Population Estimates Unit Researcher/Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be hybrid, Titchfield Darlington, Edinburgh or Newport.
Job Summary:
- Assisting in the development of team products and processes.
- Working with team members and other PSD teams to investigate data trends and data quality issues.
- Use own initiative to suggest ideas to make improvements to processes.
- Undertake learning and development related to your role and personal development.
- Developing documentation and QA logs to maintain quality standards and facilitate training.
- Recognise opportunities to learn from related projects.
- Work towards one corporate objective, e.g., people committee, MS Teams champion, quality champion etc.
- Select and use appropriate statistical and analytical coding techniques.
- Follow statistical protocols to maximise trust and prevent unintended disclosure.
- Communicates written and oral information clearly; avoids unnecessary use of jargon and technical terms; ensures caveats and assumptions are communicated properly.
