- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Channel Strategy & Orchestration Lead to join them on a 3 month contract. This position will be hybrid, Bristol.
Job Summary:
Defence Business Services (DBS) has started to develop its Future Shared Services Operating Model (SSOM) to transform how it will look and operate in 2030 as Defence's Shared Service provider. This role offers an exciting and unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive strategy for how Defence Business Service (DBS) interacts with its customers across various channels, ensuring a common, improved user-experience for all customers of the Defence shared service centre.
Minimum Requirement:
- Managing a support officer (some leadership requirement).
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels internal and external.
- Strong comms and influencing skills.
- Channel Strategy skills and experience.
- Orchestration layer.
Essential:
- Expertise in channel management strategy.
- In depth experience of defining a Service Management Framework/Orchestration Layer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enable the interpretation of data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, able to create positive relationships and become a client advocate.
- Line management experience.
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience of creating a Channel Strategy as part of a future Shared Services Operating Model.
- Good working knowledge of how defence and shared services work.
- Oracle ERP – BENEFICIAL – Not essential.
- Public/Defence sector – desirable – Not essential.
