- We are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Officer/Finance Officer to join the Finance team on a temporary fixed term basis, for approximately 12 months.
Day rate £180
Experience required;
experience with government accounts
using SAP (this is essential as it is the Finance system we use at the VTS).
candidates who are part-qualified or newly qualified to fill this post.
The title of ‘Assistant Finance Officer’ or ‘Finance Officer’ is dependent on the candidate’s level of qualification and experience.
- Management and provision of financial information, including preparation of accurate and timely budgets, forecast and management accounts.
- Advice and guidance to budget holders/project managers to inform, influence and help guide decision making.
- Build and manage effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Ensure all financial controls, policies and procedures operate effectively and on a timely basis.
- Proactively support a culture of continuous improvement in financial management and systems.
- Production Ad-hoc reports and analysis.
We require someone in the role ASAP and would be looking to interview week commencing 5th November.
