Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Finance lead in the detailed reporting of acute sector financial performance against contract, including trend analysis and financial modelling. This will involve financial planning, monitoring and performance management of commissioning activities to achieve the CCGs’, and the SEL sector’s, financial and service priorities.
· The team’s technical finance lead on the development of the National Tariff Payment System (NTPS)_, previously Payment by Results (PbR) financial regime.
· Lead finance support in the negotiation of hosted acute contracts including deputising when required.
· Lead responsibility in all financial aspects of the negotiation of non-local acute contracts.
· Lead in the development and provision of financial information to CCGs/ICDT in respect of the acute sector to support the delivery of CCGs annual and medium term service and financial plans.
· Finance lead in the provision of timely and accurate practice level financial information to CCGs/ICDT.
· Lead in the provision of financial information to the NHSE as required.
