Salary: £ 660 per day Umbrella
Contract Length: This role will run for 50 days from the start – with a possible extension
Location: BASED: Telford / Midlands

Minimum Requirement:
This role is placed within the Cloud Delivery Group OSS Tooling operations team responsible for the run component of the tools that they manage from Operating System to Application, these tools form the backbone of Cloud Delivery Group’s systems management environment in AWS and Azure.
The role requires experience in the supported toolsets primarily operationally however experience within the development space of the products would be advantageous, it is essential that the engineer has the ability to work within an agile framework
This role is specifically to replace an OpsView SME within the OSS tooling team with a generalist that can contribute to all supported toolsets, activities within the team include:
Administer, run and upgrade of the following Applications:
•OpsView v5.x
•Splunk Infrastructure (Heavy and Universal Forwarder)
•Elastic Stack
•Hashicorp Vault
•Ansible Tower & AWX
•GitLab
•McAfee EPO
Sysadmin Operation run and upgrade of the following OS:
•RHEL 7.4
•Windows 2012
•Windows 2016
Initial focus will be upgrading OpsView to v6.0, this potentially will have heavy involvement from development to live service, building new operational processes around the new architecture and providing cross skilling within the operational team.
Other skills required to perform this role:
•Able to communicate at a business and technical level
•Able to apply Enterprise best practices
•Able to work as part of a team
•Able to visualise business requirements and turn them in to technical deliveries
•Has an understanding of Agile methodologies and has experience with Agile deliveries
Experience utilising CI/CD toolsets as part of a delivery pipeline and experience implementing this into an operational team would be an advantage (Ansible Tower, Terraform, Jenkins, Gitlab) however not essential

We may be able to look at individuals with parts of the main required skill-sets, i.e OpsView or Hashicorp Vault.
