Skills
Candidates will require the following must have skills:
- Experience in a performing quality analysis in a data architecture
environment working on a large IT change Programme
- Extensive data modeling experience using relevant tools to develop data
related products
- Database design and maintenance
- Extensive data mapping experience, defining the data structures at one
source and mapping it to another, detailing any transformations that are to
occur
- Interpreting of Business Requirements and identifying the data elements
necessary to support those requirements
- Experience investigating reference data requirements
- Maintaining data quality across all products
Desirable skills include:
· Strong client and delivery focus with a commitment to building in-house
capability.
· Excellent communication skills with Technical and non-Technical
staff.
· Ability to develop and understand SQL to required standards.
· Excellent planning, control, time management and personal
organisation.
· Analysis and decision making.
· Maintaining good relationships with Technical and Business
representatives.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Working with XML.
Knowledge Outstanding knowledge of:
· Logical level data modeling (over 3 years working experience).
· Physical database design for Oracle Transactional databases (over 3
years working experience). Some Data Warehouse Design
knowledge is beneficial.
