Duration of engagement: 4 months
This role will primarily focus on the planning, preparation, coordination and reporting activities for Automated System and Integration Testing.
A key aspect of the role will be working as part of an Agile Development team, in establishing Automation Test Frameworks and tools, developing automation test code to support Test Driven Development. The role will also be responsible for validating development test results and testing the integration of components and applications primarily on Cloud Infrastructure.
The successful candidate will work closely with various development and technical teams, including Agile Development team members, Business Acceptance Teams, Business Analysts and Operational Users. Support will be provided for each of these areas by an appropriate Test Manager.
The role requires strong automation test planning and execution experience. The candidate will be familiar in working as part of Integrated Project Teams and in accordance with Agile Scrum delivery methodology.
To analyse and review user requirements, technical and functional specifications and application code.
Responsible for the production of test conditions, scenarios, scripts, and the identification and extraction of custom data for use in testing.
To ensure that System and Integration Testing is conducted on the appropriate Test Environments against known system configuration baselines.
Collation and reporting of all test results
To provide an input into quality gates and System Acceptance and assurance.
To provide support to business testers during test execution to run tests, evaluate and record results and to investigate issues.
To coach and mentor other system testers through the agile development lifecycle.
Essential
ISTQB Test Foundation Certification or 3+ years’ experience in a testing role.
Software / Web application testing
QA/Testing methodologies with software development lifecycle (SDLC) understanding
Setting up Automation Test Frameworks and designing and running automated test scripts
Desirable
Experience using GIT for code configuration management and JIRA
Statistical Analysis and Data Flow Testing
