- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Communications Officer to join them on a 4 month contract. This position will be in Nottingham or Bristol/hybrid.
Job Summary:
Internal Communications (EO Level) Key Responsibilities: Writing and editing internal content, including:
- Writing and editing internal content, including:
- Good news stories.
- Blogs and articles requiring rewrites.
- Coverage of live events.
- Liaising with colleagues to gather stories, including sourcing quotes and photos.
- Publishing content to the intranet.
- Supporting ad hoc writing tasks across the business.
Tools & Platforms: Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Intranet Additional Notes:
- The role does not require developing comms plans or engaging with HEO-level responsibilities.
- As an EO-level position, it’s more task-focused rather than relationship-building or strategic planning.
- Ideal for someone with internal comms experience and a passion for writing.
