The Programme Delivery Team is responsible for delivering on workstreams which will enable the client to function as an employer independently from a government body. The Pay, Reward and Benefits Lead is a key role and you will contribute to its success by ensuring that the pay and reward strategies and policies are in place to enable the client to attract, motivate, develop and retain the talent it needs to deliver for the victims of the infected blood.
Working in the programme delivery team as the subject matter expert on pay, reward and benefits, you will lead the implementation approved pay arrangements, play a key role in the implementation of payroll provision, and deliver pay-related policies and processes by 1 October with support from policy colleagues.
You will also support a staff transfer of circa 1000 employees to support delivery of job evaluation solutions, rewards and recognition offerings.
Given the nature of this role, you will have high levels of autonomy to lead your own work and have opportunities to engage closely with the Board, Executive Committee, Remuneration Committee and other senior stakeholders.
There will be an opportunity in the immediate term to help establish a permanent pay, reward and benefits team with the necessary capabilities to independently deliver cyclical and ad hoc activity, and to ensure the client remains compliant with HR policies, relevant legislation and government policy.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced role which involves managing multiple priorities and frequently changing requirements, so you will need to be comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty.
