Minimum Requirement:
1) Experienced Solution Architect
2) member of the Authority’s Design Assurance (ADA)
3) governance of data migration and go from multiple legacy systems into a cloud system
5-6 legacy systems, someone who has compensation schemes, looking for PENSION domain. Not an essential but a desirable if they have done something in the pension environment.

Description:
Senior Digital Technical Architect: As a Solution Architect you will be a member of the Authority’s Design Assurance (ADA) team responsible for providing technical assurance for a large managed service contract. In future, the service will undergo significant enterprise wide transformation, including service disaggregation, significant application and technology change, the introduction of mature service management practices and the Authority assuming more control and influence over the service provision. Reporting to the ADA Lead Architect, you will be seconded to the Veterans transformation programme (based in Norcross, Blackpool) and will be required to provide technical assurance for the work programme that will transform the Pension and Compensation services.
Responsibilities: Represent the Authority’s Design Assurance team and provide technical assurance for assigned areas of change, ensuring that all requirements and constraints are enforced; Work closely with the Authority’s assigned project and programme managers and support all phases of change delivery including the development of requirements, assessment of options, collaborative design work with suppliers (where required), technical assurance of all contractor provided technical deliverables; Contribute towards the Authority’s Enterprise Architecture capability and support the continued development of the Service Strategy; Develop and maintain assigned service roadmaps and standards; Take responsibility for knowledge management within assigned service areas and contribute towards the development of other team members as required; Work collaboratively with supplier/s and support development of the required architectural governance changes; Identify and champion service improvement opportunities; Represent the Authority and manage relationships with industry technology partners.
Essential Experience: Proactive, seasoned and technologically experienced Architect who is able to ensure that the supplier’s planned changes are delivered in compliance with their contractual obligations and the Authority’s strategic and tactical requirements; Significant experience operating as a Technical/Solution Architect within enterprise-scale environments with heightened security requirements; Must have held senior technical roles within large technology enabled business change programmes; Experience with the use of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or MODAF.
