A government department client is looking for a Digital Project Manager to join them on a 3 month contract. This position will be in London.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Digital Project Manager to lead the transition between two contracts for our Country Based Staff (CBS) Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This role is pivotal in ensuring continuity, functionality, and value from our new supplier arrangement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end transition process, coordinating internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and delivering a robust project plan that includes training timelines and ensures the new contract meets our operational and strategic needs.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in digital project management, ideally within a public sector or contract-driven environment.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), including implementation or supplier management.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
- Demonstrable experience managing transitions between digital contracts or platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to design and maintain detailed project plans.
- Familiarity with digital service delivery and functionality testing.
- Experience in planning and delivering training programmes as part of project rollouts.
Desirable:
- Experience working with government departments and experience of working with global stakeholders.
- Understanding of procurement and contract management processes.
