Contract Length: 6 months (potential extension)
Location: King Charles Street London
IR35: Outside IR35
Pay Rate to Candidate: £500- £550 MAX
Security Clearance: SC Cleared – must be British National and state of coversheet expiry date

Finance Analyst
Assist with the evaluation model for the procurements and build content for Finance questions
Create and maintain Financial Model(s) to assess and evaluate bidder responses and preferred scenarios
Provide economic and financial contents for the Business Case
Provide financial support, analysis and recommendations in extension negotiations with incumbent supplier
Provide Assurance that financial data created by the programme meets internal and external (GAAP) principles and procedures
Provide assistance to the lawyers in conforming te final contract
Provide support and assurance to the creation and maintenanance of Programme budgets and their presentation
Provide content and assurance to the benefits management process
Present financial and commercial information to a wide range of stakeholders with differing degrees of financial understanding in a clear, uncomplicated manner
Qualifications:
Accountancy Qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA,CIPFA) or equivalent commercial experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Good understanding of European Procurement Law implementing purchase contracts and supply agreements
An understanding of Outsourcing, PFI/PPP and Best Value.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
An understanding of public sector compliance rules
Effective Project management skills
Experience
Recent proven experience in a procurement function involved in high risk, high value, complex works, services and supplies.
A proven record in establishing contracts/specifications through excellent attention to detail demonstrated through strong analytical skills.
Experience in preparing, reviewing and agreeing technical terms and conditions and/or commercial schedules.
A proven track record of success in:
Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
Influencing others both internally and externally up to CIO level through presentations, negotiations, written reports with high degree of tact and diplomacy
Excellent IT skills.
