Minimum Requirement:
An understanding of the current Activity and Resource Planning process is essential to enable the candidate to be able to understand and develop the F&RP / A&RP interfaces and dependencies.

The post holder will be responsible for the following key activities:
1. Work with Army HQ to exploit the current Activity and Resource Planning (A&RP) process (the
inventory lever) and produce an integrated process identifying the F&RP and A&RP interfaces and
dependencies.
2. Working with the F&RP delivery team to define the input metrics required to support the F&RP
process.
3. Support SO1 A&RP in Fd Army in the capture and translate the ARO/Training Directives et al into
a detailed activity forecast – by equipment, suitably profiled over a 3-year forecasting period
updating the existing A&RP documentation as required to ensure a consistent and coherent
approach is taken.
4. Support SO1 A&RP in Fd Army in the capture and analysis of delivered activity to enable its evaluation against planned activity, identifying variation and where possible identifying the causes of forecast Vs actual variation. (Note: CHURCHILL provides a D-120 day detailed analysis of planned activity including equipment to be used etc. therefore this task involves the capture and evaluation of the Constrained TAF against CHURCHILL and JAMES data captured during an activity). 5. Support the consolidation of the TAF by Army HQ and the allocation and subsequent consumption tracking of key materiel. (Note: this task is yet to be defined in detail as it will be undertaken for the first time in 2020 when the Constrained TAF, Demand and Supply Plans are approved by the Senior management Review (SMR))
