- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join them on a 9 month contract. This position will be in Peterborough.
Job Summary:
The project engineer will manage the implementation of the new 25kV isolation standard NR/L3/ELP/SAI25 across an area of Eastern Region. This will involve supporting the delivery agents in their transition to the new standard and the assessment of residual electrical hazards. The process is being implemented across the entire region.
Detailed requirements are:
- Ensure compliance of [Route] with SAI25 in line with project implementation plan.
- Collaborate/Lead with DU on development of residual electrical risk hazard register in collaboration with SPE.
- Manage/develop a solution on signalling risk assessments required as part of SAI25.
- Undertake/Lead on Briefings at DU level in collaboration with SPE.
- Undertake/Lead on Briefings at ECR/Control in collaboration with SPE.
- Push for Level 1 Assurance activities to be undertaken/instilled in DU regimes.
- Collaborate with SPE on SRP activities.
- Collaborate with SPE on collating EIDF information for post implementation analysis.
- Collaborate with SPE/PM on implementing a successful ERAS mentoring schedule.
- Collaborate with SPE on HAZID Workshop requirements.
- Collaborate with SPE on DRACAS items close out.
- Collaborate with SPE on isolation documentation updates.
- Collaborate with SPE on transfer of active TVs / Derogations for migration to SAI25.
