- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Commercial Manager to join them on a 12 month contract. This position will be based in London or Milton Keynes/ Hybrid.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager within the Overseas Estate Department (“OED”), the Commercial Manager will be responsible for regional commercial functions and contract management of Facilities Management (“FM”) contracts across Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
Essential:
- Proven experience in FM and Commercial management across Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
- Previous experience leading FM contract re-procurement, including mobilisation and transition process.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of FM contract management process and pricing mechanisms.
- Strong communication and supplier management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities, with solid financial literacy.
- Professional qualifications or equivalent in FM/Commercial/Contract Management related subjects, and membership of a relevant professional body.
- Able to work across different time zones and travel overseas as required.
- Holder of UK security clearance, or at minimum, willingness and eligible to undergo checks.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
