- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Reward Consultant to join them on a 9 month contract. This position will be based in London or Leeds/ Hybrid.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team on an interim basis as a Reward Manager. Reporting into the Senior Reward Manager, the successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert in compensation and analytics areas of reward. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead a team of Reward analysts on operational and cyclical elements of the reward remit and provide expertise and guidance to the wider organisation.
Minimum Requirement:
- Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and organisational design.
- Experience in developing or maintaining job architecture frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and data management tools.
- Collaborative and proactive approach.
- Ability to challenge constructively and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in reward, with a focus on pay equity and compliance.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (experience with R or similar tools desirable).
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for gender pay gap reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to influence and challenge constructively.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
