Role: Project Manager (Integration)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £550-£600 per day
IR35 Status: In scope

Project Detail:
The successful candidate will be able to show experience in working with remote teams and international applications, localisation and multiple language support.
You will support the Product Manager and Consumer operational teams to ensure the project team can deliver to the timeline required, identifying critical paths and coordinating developers, designers, partnerships management, marketing, customer support and other data or service providers.
The project will involve significant development, data acquisition, partner acquisition and operational changes to support an international product. The tracking of risks and dependencies associated with this will be crucial.
The successful candidate will be expected to thrive in a fast paced project which aims to follow Lean Start-up
Methodology: this is not a Waterfall project.
You will also support the Consumer Programme Manager in the effective control and monitoring of the Project workstream, as well as effective working with other PMs on the various projects in the Consumer Programme.

Job Description:
A Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and project closure of the Integrations workstream.
The Project Manager must have a combination of PM fundamentals, previous integration (3rd Party vendor Mgmt.) experience and be able to demonstrate the PM skills required to effectively carry out the role within OS
The ability to ask penetrating questions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general people mgmt. and behaviour management skills.
The Project Manager creates the path (a methodology and approach) for the project team members to succeed:
- Follow and adhere to the agreed PM Methodology / Project lifecycle that supports the Pm and the team in effectively managing the project's primary tasks, activities, milestones and deliverables.
- Help the sponsors clearly define the requirements and scope and what success means for the project (KPIs/Benefits)
- Be aware of and manage all kinds of risks.
- Empower and trust the team to do their work (functionally / technically etc.) and the PM does the rest-of-the-organisation, wrt: effective project mgmt. and interfacing with 3rd Parties and key stakeholders.
- Effective Stakeholder and SME (Business end user) engagement is fundamental to the success of the project.
Project Managers must be able to demonstrate certified / recognised PM methodologies (throughout the project lifecycle) and use project management software and standards, such as Microsoft Project, for project plans and MS PowerPoint / Word / Excel for the production of weekly and monthly reporting, as well as effective Financial tracking and monitoring, along with resource allocation and effective resource management.

Experience:
Must have experience of internationalisation of systems or applications and delivery of applications internationally.
Mobile appdevelopment and deployment experience would be an advantage.
Experience of working with customer facingB2C business units.
Experience working with consumer marketing and content development would be an advantage.
Must have experience of managing remote 3rd Parties.
International procurementexperience would be an advantage.
Experience of working in a matrix-basedorganisation for resource management.
