- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Caseworker to join them on a 2 month contract with a likely extension. This position will be based in London.
Job Summary:
Minimum Requirement:
- Experience analysing complex information from multiple sources, with keen eye for attention to detail.
- Experience using government policy to make decisions.
- Experience working to strict policies and procedures.
- Ability to clearly articulate and justify decisions based on policy.
- Experienced working to tight deadlines in high pace and sensitive operational environment.
- Previous Casework Experience.
- Experience of problem solving.
- Stakeholder Management.
- Good knowledge of Data Protection.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and written skills. understanding of English, especially written.
- Competent with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PP, Excel, Teams etc.).
- Exposure to graphic/disturbing material and stories. Requirement to discuss up front with candidates to ensure they are resilient and ok with this.
- Empathy.
Desirable:
- Home Office/Police/Immigration background.
- Experience dealing with complex cases.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
