Description:
Main duties and responsibilities:
Run conformity checks at key stages throughout the project; Ensure that Service Management have an effective mechanism for bringing new or amended services into the production environment; Assist in shaping AIS best practice and processes, including leading a stream of work; To provide Delivery teams a single point of contact from within Service Management to ensure that service requirements are identified and addressed throughout in the project lifecycle; To liaise with other parts of service management and its stakeholders to resolve any areas of risk and to provide recommendations and/or escalation; Work with Special Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify the Service Management acceptance requirements and provide assurance that the Project Manager delivers those requirements; To collate checklist responses and produce a handover report containing risks, issues, recommendations and observations for the Senior Management team; Produce regular Management Information (MI) reporting
Experience Required
ESSENTIAL
1. Experience in producing high quality analytical products using a range of operational research (OR) or statistical skills relevant for qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
2. Proficient in spreadsheet modelling using Excel, including strong Excel VBA coding ability.
3. Strong analytical thinking and reasoning skills.
4. Experience and skills in presenting data and information clearly both in writing and orally, using an appropriate style that takes account the needs of the intended audience.
5. Excellent organisational skills, a good planner and manager of own and others’ work, and ability to take initiative and be highly proactive in progressing work.
DESIRABLE
1. Experience in contributing analysis to published reports or research papers.
2. Strong team player; willing to support other team members when necessary and always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
