- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Project Manager to join them on a 12 month contract. This position will be based in Exeter/ Hybrid.
Job Summary:
Top 3 Evaluation Criteria:
- Strong understanding of CDM regulations.
- Stakeholder management and stakeholder engagement.
- Deep understanding of property projects.
Essential:
- Prince2 Practitioner and/or APM (Association for Project Management) PMQ Certificate or equivalent project related experience.
- Practical implementation of CDM Regulations and strong understanding of CDM regulations.
- Can demonstrate experience of delivering a project of medium complexity using standard procedures and methodologies.
- A proven ability to manage issues and recommend solutions through formal and informal channels, securing effective outcomes.
- Proven ability to co-ordinate multiple activities and work streams, handling shifting demands and priorities, to deliver a customer requirement or business benefit.
- Stakeholder management and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of successful liaison with stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of property projects.
- Strong leaderships skills – no Line Manager responsibilities with this role but there is task management, leading, and motivating involved.
- Strong understanding of CDM regulations.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
