A government client is looking for a Service Catalogue Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be based in Milton Keynes or London/ Hybrid.
Job Summary:
The Service Catalogue Analyst is a role within the IT Service Management department of IDD reporting into the Senior Service Catalogue Manager.
The Service Catalogue Analyst supports the maintenance of the IDD Service Catalogue, providing accurate information on the offerings available, as well as their expected lead times.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all IT services provided by the organisation are accurately documented, easily accessible, and consistently updated. This involves creating and maintaining a comprehensive catalogue of services, which includes detailed descriptions, service levels, and any associated costs.
The Service Catalogue Analyst works closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams, service owners, and business units, to gather and validate information about the services offered. They also ensure that the service catalogue aligns with the organisation's overall IT strategy and business objectives. By doing so, they help improve service delivery, enhance customer satisfaction, and support decision-making processes.
Essential

- Use quantitative and qualitative data about users to turn user focus into outcomes.
- Work independently, share information and assist others with requests for service.
Desirable
- ITIL Foundation is a desirable qualification for this role. Successful candidates will be expected to gain ITIL Foundation within their probation period.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
