- The Client:
A government client is looking for a Finance Specialist - Fraud to join them on a 10 month contract. This position will be based in Reading/ Hybrid.
Job Summary:
A member of the CFO Finance team providing financial activities within a CFO Finance functional team: Financial Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Compliance and Finance Systems.
Key Accountabilities:
- Delivery of all financial activities as assigned to time and quality.
- Compliance to the internal finance control and governance framework in place for relevant activities.
- Identification and implementation of process improvement activities
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of financial data on a timely basis.
- Assist in analysis and interpretation of financial information as required.
- Compliance with financial processes.
- Ensuring integrity of financial data and integrity.
- Maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Training and development of Finance Analysts and/or graduates and apprentices.
- Working by example to support a high performing team
Evidence of any business/finance qualifications to be provided as part of onboarding.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
