- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Commercial and Procurement Manager to join them on a 3 month contract. This position will be hybrid, London.
Job Summary:
- Good understanding of Managing Public Money, PCR 2015 and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of the procurement reforms.
- Experience of running end to end procurement exercises including premarket engagement, drafting tender and contractual documents and evaluating tenders.
- Experience of managing more complex, high value procurements.
- Experience of supporting commercial agreements in either the public or private sector and reviewing terms and conditions.
- Experience of using on-line tender portals.
- Experience of purchasing a wide variety of goods and services.
- A good understanding of Social Value in procurements.
- Good understanding of how contractual arrangements work at an operational level.
- Fair knowledge of contract law and an ability to advise on contract and commercial aspects including those instances where a claim or conflict arises.
