•The Maximum Pay Rate: £640UMB
•Location: Seaton Court, South West
•Contract Length: 3 months with possible extension to 6 months
•Clearance Level Required: BPSS/ DBS
•Additional Info: Inside IR35
Essential Experience:
-significant industry experience in an IT field and have some experience of leading a team to deliver quality IT Systems;
-significant experience in at least two of:
o messaging technology
o document storage
o migration of applications, infrastructure or data
-experience of representing the group as a subject matter expert in software design;
-promoting reuse and maintainable solutions by ensuring solution development adheres to design standards;
-experience of leading technical design activities;
-overseeing others’ work and producing your own artefacts on larger-scale or more complex projects;
-experience of reviewing, producing and updating documentation in line with current standards and processes;
-experience of software engineering in a team using at least one industry-recognised software development lifecycle;
-knowledge of Agile working practices;
-experience of working with a broad range of IT technical specialists;
-knowledge of software engineering principles and their practical application;
-knowledge of industry and government sector developments, to help produce technical roadmaps aligned to business value;
-proven ability to adopt new technology, encourage and inform teams in the use of it and create designs with specific technologies in mind;
-proven ability to create clear and easy-to-understand designs in well-known formats, for example UML;
-the ability to design and build RESTful applications;
-the ability to create and implement designs that use different communication mechanisms such as synchronous and asynchronous and the appropriate corresponding technologies such as message queues.
