Location: Base Location: Andover – office visits 2 days a week, candidate must be flexible on days.

Pay Rate to Candidate: £510

The post’s responsibilities are as follows:
Review license renewal request forms provided by the service support contractor and conduct due diligence and assurance on the contractor’s analysis, in order to assess requirement and value for money of license renewals across the estate. Raise concerns and queries with technical leads where technical understanding is lacking ensuring all renewals contain required levels of information and evidence upon which to provide approvals to proceed, verifying requirement and value for money.
Proactively manage and track renewals across the estate, capturing progress and actions through weekly reviews, generating and issuing minutes, maintenance of trackers and oversight of the renewals SharePoint page for record keeping. This is in order to manage and provide governance over license renewals across the estate and mitigate the risk of financial waste and incomplete licensing that may have operational impacts on Defence.
Coordinate and liaise with contractor renewals staff and other key stakeholders to maintain a high level of situational awareness in terms of potential issues and risk related to license renewals and to build working relationships with contractor staff to facilitate timely renewals. This may necessitate infrequent site visits to RAF Wyton and Defence Geographic Centre.
Assist with the planning and Transition to the new Contract ensuring a seamless transfer of licence agreements is managed appropriately.
Actively collaborate with the Commercial and Financial teams in conducting monthly Cost-Plus reviews for license renewals. Provide financial forecasts where the available data allows to actively assist with forecast of financial governance.
Work with the IntSys Software Asset Management team based in Corsham to manage all procurement matters related to Enterprise License Agreement and ensure procurements and renewals related to these agreements are made in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirement:

Stakeholder Management
knowledge of Service Management (configuration/asset Management)
Evidence and examples of sufficient knowledge or experience in service delivery and change management using a recognised best practice frameworks (i.e. ITIL, or other frameworks)
Understanding of asset and configuration management processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to define, source, tailor, and analyse high quality management information, demonstrating excellent stakeholder management skills
Able to demonstrate the professional credibility required to work collaboratively across project and organisational boundaries
