•Contract Length: 3 months
• Strong commercial acumen
Previous experience of complex sourcing activity and working collabiratively as part of a wider programme.
• Proven track record of complex procurement in public sector
• Experience in balancing risks and commercial outcomes
• Awareness of commercial law
• A good understanding of private and third sector drivers and motivations
• Experience of working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams and influencing final decisions
• Experience in making decisions in complex and uncertain situations
• Experience in drafting submissions and making final recommendations verbally and in writing for a senior audience
• Result oriented and a problem solver
Key tasks and deliverables
The scope of work will include: market engagement, drafting and publishing the PIN, commercial section of Outline Business Case and wider inputs in the design of the new service offering with a view to lower barrier to entry and maximise competition during procurement.
General Objectives:
• Shape and lead on market engagement to encourage competition and drive new market entrants
• Have a leading role in the design of the commercial construct for new contracts working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
• Draft and publish PIN
• Contribute to drafting the commercial section of the Outline Business Case
