Rate is £350/day Outside IR35
3 months contract.
Level of screening, SC (Security Clearance)
Submission deadline is July 11th, 3pm
We urgently require a contractor to support work on website and social media content at the centre of government. The vacancy has arisen as a result of volatile workload and resourcing pressures. We plan to fill the vacancy longer term but require immediate contractor cover in the interim.
What we need:
- A talented interim content producer to join the 10 Downing Street and Cabinet Office team
- They may be updating or improving existing content, advising publishers across Cabinet Office and 10 Downing Street, or writing something from scratch.
- They need to be able to create and publish high-quality, engaging content on social media including text, images, graphics and video.
- They must have a good political understanding and be able to suggest changes that make complex language and processes easier to understand. They will be working with colleagues in policy and communications to help them meet user needs in their various areas of responsibility.
- The role will involve deciding on the right formats to use as well as writing to https://www.gov.uk/ style.
