•Job Title: Rewards Consultant

•Clearance Level Required: BPSS/ DBS

•Additional Info: Inside IR35

Key tasks and deliverables          

1.            Analysis of current state in relation to reward and benefits

 2.           Proposal for changes in line with strategic objectives

 3.           Reward Strategy document with associated comms

 4.           Business case production

 5.           Team development activities

 

Experience Required     

ESSENTIAL

 1. Substantial reward experience with relevant market knowledge

 2. Management of compensation processes

 3. Strategic thinker / influencer

 3. Experienced in writing proposals

 4. Demonstrate Controls, checks and data integrity in application of skills

 5. Excellent It skills – advanced excel

 6. All candidates must have a HR qualification (CIPD)

 

 DESIRABLE

 1. Experience in public sector pay frameworks

               

Brief Description

 Work Schedule: Reward Consultant

 

 In line with our agenda of attract, retain and develop we are looking to develop HR team expertise in relation to reward activities, frameworks and policy.

 

 We are looking for a Reward professional to join DBS on a contractor basis to deliver;

 1.           Thought leadership and market insights

 2.           Developing reward strategy and associated reward activities

 3.           Deliver total compensation analysis in accordance with associated control frameworks , diagnosing reward related issues

 4.           Advise and contribute to business case in conjunction with HR & Finance for any proposals that reflect DBS objectives

 5.           Devise Reward COMM’s strategy

 6.           Upskill HR team in areas of reward and benefits

 

 Travel

 Occasional Travel (couple of days per month) to Disclosure and Barring Service, Stephenson House, Morton Palms Business Park, Alderman Best Way, Darlington, DL1 4WB
