- The Client:
A government department client is looking for an Senior Procurement Manager to join them on an 18 month contract. This position will be hybrid/ London (1 day/ week).
Job Summary:
- PRE- Contract Procurement Experience within an infrastructure / construction environment -experience of NEC 3/4 contracts.
- Senior Procurement manager who has previous experience of a procuring a logistics partner.
- END TO END would be suitable but a heavy focus on PRE-CONTRACT is mostly important.
- Strong Stakeholder Management Skills.
- NO direct line management involved.
- Multibillion pound procurement.
- High value procurement – Anyone who has worked on motorways, highways, rail etc – £1B upwards.
- Not looking for local authorities / councils or housing background – not complex enough.
- Must be complex construction and understand the complexity of the procurement required.
- Public sector would be more desirable due to governance but will consider candidates within PRIVATE.
