- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Head of Financial Reporting to join them on a 4 month contract. This position will be hybrid, UK wide.
Job Summary:
- Experience of managing the production of an Annual Report and Accounts and managing audit.
- Ability to understand complex financial reporting issues, accounting and cash management standards relevant to a government department.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Clear communication and influencing skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present information clearly with strong consideration as to the intended audience.
- Experience of establishing the most efficient ways of working and standardising processes.
- Candidates must hold full CCAB/CIMA accountancy qualification.
- Experience preparing annual reporting accounts.
- Experience Leading an audit.
- Ideally public sector experience.
- Oracle – nice to have.
