- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Buyer to join them on an 18 month contract. This position will be hybrid, Reading.
Job Summary:
Top 3 essential requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) products.
- Experience of sourcing to contract.
- Experience of Public Procurement Regulations.
Essential:
- Knowledge of PCR 2015 and PA 2023.
- Knowledge of end-to-end public procurement.
- Experience of end-to-end tendering/evaluation.
- Experience of System Implementations (finance).
- Working on more complex contracts, with higher values.
- Need to be able to field queries and liaise with other departments.
- Stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Background in nuclear or Defence.
- Knowledge and understanding of JAGGAER (preferably) or Ariba (as equivalent).
