- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a L&D Business Partner to join them for a 5 month contract. This position will be a hybrid with the main office being in London.
Job Summary:
- Relevant experience gained from multiple functions of talent management and/or L&D within financial services or other commercially focused organisation in particular, IT and professional services.
- Development and commissioning of learning solutions and the assurance to know that they are effective and meeting the intended objectives.
- Budget management and oversight and working with business plans – showing financial acumen to balance costs with and outcomes, developing clear business cases based on business need and sound analysis.
- Managing people and leading a function within a small organisation.
- Relationship management and stakeholder skills – able to develop relationships quickly, maintaining trust and confidence over the longer term.
- Strategic thinking and analysis through an evidence-based approach and using this to effectively implement HR strategy.
- Excellent project management skills and experience of coordinating multiple and related project timelines especially in a matrix environment.
- Experience of working as a specialist within a HR Business Partner led function with experience collaborating to develop and manage policy, processes.
- Excellent influencing and communication skills both written and verbal demonstrated by experience of engaging formally and informally to a range of audiences
- Manage the delivery of L&D training events and services via Nest HR system learning module (iTrent).
- Lead on and deliver relevant L&D projects as identified on the P&D project plan.
