SLC Onboarding
The SLC Resource Service uses a structured onboarding process designed to get workers ready to start quickly, while ensuring the appropriate checks and approvals are completed.
Our objective is to keep the process clear, straightforward and fully supported for both hiring managers and workers.
Getting started
Once an offer is agreed, onboarding begins immediately.
Workers receive guidance and secure invitations to complete the onboarding process online, including the submission of identification and screening information where required.
Hiring managers are kept updated throughout so there is visibility of progress toward the agreed start date.
Screening and compliance
We use Amiqus to manage onboarding and baseline personnel security screening (BPSS).
Depending on the role and location, this may include identity verification, right to work checks, employment referencing, DBS or Disclosure Scotland processing and compliance checks.
Amiqus provides a secure and auditable onboarding process widely used across recruitment and regulated environments.
Keeping the process moving
The Malikshaw team works directly with workers throughout onboarding to help keep the process moving and resolve issues quickly.
A smooth onboarding process depends on timely completion of onboarding tasks, agreed approvals and equipment or access requests being raised early where required.
Data protection
The onboarding process is managed in line with GDPR and appropriate data protection requirements.
