- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Staff Officer to join them on a 9 month contract . This position will be onsite, London.
Job Summary:
- Provide secretariat support to Directors/Deputy Directors, to ensure the priorities of the Private Office are met and appropriate standards maintained.
- Lead on drafting of routine letters, emails and other documents on behalf of the Director/Deputy Director.
- Supervise the quality, secure handling and dissemination of data/information pertaining to Private Office business.
- Provide Secretariat and co-ordination function to Director/Deputy Director chaired meetings and Boards.
- Co-ordinate input into CBS and wider Agency submissions on behalf of Director/Deputy Director.
- Manage Director/Deputy Directors inbox and oversee the effective and efficient storage of email correspondence.
- Build and maintain relationships across the Agency’s Private Offices, with departmental officials and broader cross-government stakeholders.
