Educated to masters level or equivalent level of knowledge, training and experience
Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development
Prince 2 qualification or equivalent
Experience
Significant senior management experience in the NHS.
Significant experience of successful collaborative working and partnership development with a wide range of stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams on complex and difficult issues.
Significant operational management experience within an NHS provider organisation
Using performance information, benchmarking data and best practice knowledge to support service improvement
Combining and reviewing multiple KPIs to create a rich picture overview of performance both at provider and system level as needed.
Experience and expertise in service improvement initiatives, techniques and tools
Experience in the use of capacity planning and demand and supply modelling techniques in planning delivery of operational services Using a wide range of business styles e.g. reports, change communication in order to achieve the desired outcome.
Managing complex projects using established methodology, for example Prince 2.
